The club is asking all members and supporters to consider donating old clothes, textiles and soft furnishings (Curtains, cushion covers, bedding etc) to the club.
The club has a strong and well established recycling policy which includes a leading edge ground source heating system for the club house which utilises heat from beneath the main pitch to power the clubhouse central heating system and up to 3000 litres of hot water for showers and other clubhouse use.
We have also been recycling donated clothes/textiles and bric a brac for a number of years, by up selling via a number of recycling partners and selling through the charity shop in Poulton. We have just confirmed dates (March 24 and October 24) for the charity shop next year.
Our recycling policy helps reduce costs at the club and helps keep sessions free for all our junior and youth members.
So if you have anything that can help please help us to continue with our recycling and keep the cost of playing our great game to a minimum.
Donations can be made at the club on training nights and Sunday mornings. If you need help with getting donations to us then please ring John Gill (07873147686) and we can help make your donation happen.
